Properties: colorless diamond-like or flaky crystal. Easily deliquescent, easily soluble in water, slightly soluble in alcohol, and decomposes when heated or in hot water. It can corrode glass and is poisonous.
Uses: used for glass engraving, extraction of rare elements, as well as preservatives and mordants.
Storage: moisture-proof, kept in a sealed condition.
